Our Dentists

Dr. Frank Gigone, DDS

Dr. Gigone received his D.D.S. from the University of Toronto in 1984 and has been providing dental services in Oakville since 1986. When he is not busy practicing, Dr. Gigone is a devoted husband and father and enjoys a busy family life with his wife and four daughters. He also enjoys skate skiing, cycling and restoration of classic automobiles.
Dr. May Taha, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. May Taha is an Associate Dentist at River Oaks Dental. She is born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. Dr. Taha graduated with honours distinction from faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University in 2004 Where she practiced general dentistry for several years before relocating to Calgary.

In 2015, Dr. Taha obtained a PhD in stem cells transplant and imaging from the University of Calgary, Alberta.

Additionally, Dr. Taha obtained her DDS degree from University of Manitoba where she was the recipient of The MacLachlan-Hart medal for proficiency in complete denture prosthesis.

In her personal time, Dr. Taha enjoys activities with her family such as fishing, hiking and travelling.
Dr. Michael Browning, DDS

Dr. Browning has been practicing dentistry for 33 years. He has been practicing at Rivers Oaks Dental since 1999. Prior to practicing at River Oaks Dental, Dr. Browning practiced dentistry in both Richmond Hill and Rexdale. He and his wife have lived in Oakville for 29 years and have one son who recently graduated with a degree in engineering. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time growing monster tomatoes and enjoys (but does not necessarily excel at) both golf and fishing.
Dr. Sam So, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. So always wanted to be the dentist to whom people didn't fear going. Throughout his life, he has been the recipient of all manner of dental treatments, from fillings to braces and even extensive jaw surgeries. So, he knows exactly how it feels to be in the chair. Dr. So is a compassionate man in all walks of life.

Dr. So is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, from which he received his Bachelor of Science as well as his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. So has a specific focus on restorative dental care, sedation and oral surgery.

Dr. So is also a part-time clinical professor at the University of Western Ontario as part of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Division.

Dr. So has been privileged with the opportunity to take part in numerous international volunteer experiences during his career. These include performing dental procedures in Guatemala and Colombia as well as being a hospital dentist in northern Ontario, where he served the underserved Moose Factory Native Reserve population.
Dr. Sarah Dinsmore, DMD

Dr. Dinsmore received her D.M.D. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. After graduation, she practiced general family dentistry in Saskatoon for 5 years as an Associate. Dr. Dinsmore moved to Toronto in 2012 with her husband for his medical residency in Anesthesia and has been part of the River Oaks Team since this time. She has enjoyed the move to the “Big City”, especially the shopping, restaurants and ball games. When she is not at work, she can be found running and enjoying the many festivals, museums and parks with her 2 young children.
Dr. Ziad Alsaddi, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Ziad Alsaddi has been practicing general dentistry since earning his DDS from the University of Damascus in 2011. After immigrating to Canada, he completed his certificate of qualification from the National Dental Examining Board of Canada in 2022.

Dr. Alsaddi earned a Masters degree in periodontology from the Syrian Board of Medical Specialties and is well-versed in the treatment of medically compromised patients. He strives to provide the best patient care through communication and high-quality service. He is committed to his professional development as he continues to learn new skills and is devoted to remaining up to date on the latest techniques.

In his spare time, Dr. Alsaddi has passions for reading, traveling, and drawing. He also enjoys going to the gym and loves hiking and many other outdoor activities.
